Online payments with Asaas: activate, postpone or unlink

Receiving by Pix and card in Rezvia is optional. See how to create the Asaas account from inside the platform, postpone with "Not now" and unlink whenever you want — without deleting your Asaas account.

Online payments are optional

Asaas is the payment institution that processes the money from your bookings in Rezvia: it is through Asaas that your guests can pay by Pix and credit card straight from your booking website.

Turning it on is optional and recommended, never required. You can use all of Rezvia without an Asaas account — bookings, calendar, finances, automations and your public site — and keep receiving payments the way you already do. Not having an Asaas account does not leave your setup incomplete: the setup checklist does not count this step, and no pending-task warning appears because of it.

In practice, once it is on: Rezvia creates the charge and organises your finances; Asaas processes the payment and deposits the money into your account.

Activating online payments is available to accounts on an active plan. During the trial, everything else in Rezvia stays available as usual.

It all starts inside Rezvia

The account is created from inside Rezvia, not on the Asaas website. That is how your account is connected from the start: Rezvia creates the account for your tax ID and links it automatically.

If you already have your own Asaas account and want to use it, there is a separate path — see "I already have an Asaas account" below.

What you need before you start

Have these to hand:

  • Tax ID (CPF or CNPJ), depending on how you operate
  • An active email and mobile number
  • Address (postcode, street, number and district)
  • Estimated monthly revenue or income
  • If you are a company: the company type (MEI, LTDA, sole trader or association)
  • How to create the Asaas account

    1. In the side menu, open Settings and go to the Payments tab.

    2. Find the Asaas card (or the Asaas — online payments (optional) section).

    3. Click Create my Asaas account (or Create Asaas account, in the section below).

    4. Fill in the form: name or company name, email, tax ID, mobile, address, estimated revenue and, for a company, the company type.

    5. Tick the confirmation "I understand this will create a real account at Asaas."

    6. Click Create Asaas account.

    The account is created straight away, but it does not start charging yet: Asaas has to review the registration before releasing payments.

    How to follow the status

    The same screen shows the state of the integration:

  • 🟡 Under review — Asaas is reviewing the registration. There is nothing to do but wait; the Refresh status button checks with Asaas whenever you want.
  • 🟢 Approved — registration approved.
  • 🔴 Rejected — Asaas did not approve the registration. Contact support to understand why.
  • Inactive — the integration exists but is not operating.
  • When everything is ready, the Asaas card shows the Current provider badge and the list reads Pix: available, Card: available, Automatic confirmation: configured and Checkout: available. While any of these is pending, your guests still cannot pay online — and the screen says exactly which item is missing.

    "Not now": postpone without a pending task

    If you do not want to turn it on yet, click Not now. The choice is stored on your account and:

  • the suggestion to activate stops appearing on your dashboard;
  • your setup percentage is not affected;
  • nothing in Rezvia is blocked or switched off;
  • you can activate whenever you want, in Settings → Payments.
  • I already have an Asaas account

    If you already have your own Asaas account, use I already have an Asaas account. On this path, instead of creating a new account, you provide the API key of your account — generated in the Asaas panel itself, in the integration area.

    We store that key encrypted; it is never shown back on screen. After connecting, use Enable automatic confirmation so that a paid Pix confirms the booking on its own.

    Never share your API key by email, WhatsApp or any open channel. Enter it only on this Rezvia screen.

    How to use "Unlink from Rezvia"

    Changed your mind? You can unlink at any time — with the account under review, approved, rejected or already in use. In Settings → Payments, in the Asaas section, click Unlink from Rezvia and confirm.

    What unlinking does:

  • Rezvia stops creating new charges on that account;
  • your guests stop seeing Pix and card on your booking website (they can still request a booking);
  • the integration is recorded as unlinked, with the date and who did it.
  • What unlinking does NOT do:

  • it does not delete your Asaas account. It remains yours;
  • it does not erase balance, charges, statements or obligations held at Asaas — all of it stays available in the Asaas panel;
  • it does not cancel charges, links or instalments already created. If a guest pays a Pix issued earlier, that payment still counts;
  • it does not erase anything from your history in Rezvia: bookings, payments received and your finances stay intact.
  • After unlinking, the panel shows the neutral state Asaas account unlinked — no alert, no pending task and no nagging to come back.

    Closing the account at Asaas is a different thing

    Permanently closing an Asaas account is a separate procedure, run by Asaas, with financial and regulatory requirements — and it is irreversible. Rezvia does not do it for you, not even when you unlink. If that is what you want, deal with Asaas directly.

    How to come back later

  • Account created through Rezvia: contact support. We do not create a second account for the same tax ID — that would create a duplicate.
  • Your own account (connected with an API key): use Resume existing connection and enter the key again. The connection only comes back after that confirmation; opening the screen reactivates nothing.
  • How charging works once it is on

    1. The guest picks the dates on your booking website and goes to payment.

    2. They pay by Pix or credit card.

    3. Asaas processes the payment and deposits it into your account.

    4. The payment appears in your Rezvia finances, feeding revenue and reconciliation.

    Some properties may receive payment directly from the guest, without going through Asaas. See how to set up direct payment to the owner.

    Frequently asked questions

    Am I required to create an Asaas account? Can I ignore it?

    It is not required, and you can ignore it whenever you like: just use Not now. Without an Asaas account you keep using Rezvia normally and receiving payments your own way; your setup is not incomplete because of it.

    Do I have to pay to create the Asaas account?

    Creating it is normally free. Transaction fees may apply depending on the payment method. Check the current terms with Asaas.

    Can I use a personal tax ID or do I need a company one?

    Both work. A personal ID is simpler for individuals; a company ID usually offers better terms.

    Is creating the Asaas account the same as paying for my Rezvia subscription?

    No. They are different things: the Asaas account processes your guests' payments; the Rezvia subscription is charged separately, in your billing area.

    Does unlinking cancel charges I have already issued?

    No. Charges already created remain valid and can still be paid.

    Does unlinking delete my Asaas account?

    No. The account, its balance and its obligations continue to exist at Asaas.

    I am on the trial and cannot activate. Why?

    Activating online payments is available to accounts on an active plan. Everything else in Rezvia stays available during the trial.

    How does the guest receive the charge?

    Through your booking website, with Pix or card. To explain the payment in a message sent right after booking, see the post-booking message.

    And if I would rather receive directly, without Asaas?

    That is configured property by property. See how to set up direct payment to the owner.

    Something looks inconsistent on screen. Who do I talk to?

    Use Rezvia support from your dashboard. Do not try to fix it by creating a second account.
