How to block dates on the calendar

Step by step

1. Go to Calendar in the menu.

2. Click + New Booking.

3. Select the property and the dates.

4. In the Status field, choose Blocked.

5. In Notes, record the reason (optional).

6. Click Save.

The dates will show as blocked on the calendar and on your booking site.

Practical tip

Block maintenance periods well in advance. That avoids guests booking dates you then have to cancel.

Common mistakes

Not blocking dates that are booked on other channels — this causes overbooking
