How to request, receive and review the guest identification document through the portal.
Every booking has a documents area, right below the payment summary. It brings together the guest's identification document, the contracts and the files for that booking.
Guests reach the same area through the portal, on their own booking page.
In the Guest document section, use the request option. The guest then sees the request in the portal and uploads the file there.
You can also upload the file on their behalf, when the document arrives through another channel.
PDF, JPG and PNG are accepted, up to 8 MB per file. Each booking accepts up to 20 files, with a maximum of 6 of each type.
An uploaded document sits in the awaiting review state. You can open it, download it and then approve or reject it.
When rejecting, write the reason. The guest sees that text in the portal and can upload a replacement.
The bookings list has a Documents awaiting review filter. It shows only the bookings with a document waiting on your decision, and each row is flagged.
That way you don't have to open bookings one by one to find out what has arrived.
Any document can stop being visible to the guest without being deleted. The history stays on record for your team.
Files are kept in private storage, outside the public area of the system. There is no permanent link: every download checks who is asking, both in the dashboard and in the portal.
A guest only ever reaches the documents of their own booking, and each account sees only its own.
