Grant an automatic discount based on the number of nights, with no coupon and no negotiation.

What it is

An automatic discount based on the number of nights. You declare tiers — "from 5 nights, 5%; from 7 nights, 10%" — and the guest gets the discount on their own, at checkout.

It is not a coupon: the guest types nothing and does not need to know the rule exists. It simply shows up in the price.

When to use it

To fill the week in the middle of low season.

To encourage long stays in properties with high cleaning and turnover costs.

To compete with listings that already offer weekly or monthly discounts.

How to configure it

1. Go to Settings → Properties and edit the property.

2. Tick Enable progressive discounts.

3. Add the tiers. Each tier has two fields: From (number of nights) and Discount (percentage).

4. Save.

You can create as many tiers as you like.

While there is no tier configured, no booking gets a discount — even with the switch on. The screen tells you so.

How the tiers behave

The rule is simple and worth remembering: the highest tier the stay reaches wins, and only that one.

Tiers are not cumulative. An 8-night stay, with tiers at 5 nights (5%) and 7 nights (10%), gets 10% — not 15%.

Nothing changes on its own

The switch starts off on every property. No existing property began granting discounts because of this feature.

Discounts and vouchers coexist

They are different benefits and can both apply to the same booking:

the length-of-stay discount is automatic, follows from the number of nights and has no code;

a voucher is triggered by a code the guest types, with its own validity and usage limit.

The price is frozen on the booking

The applied discount is recorded on the booking at the moment it is closed. Changing the tiers later does not change bookings already made.

Worked example

A house with a R$ 500 nightly rate sets two tiers: from 5 nights, 5% and from 7 nights, 10%.

A 3-night stay → R$ 1,500, no discount.

A 5-night stay → R$ 2,500 minus 5% = R$ 2,375.

An 8-night stay → R$ 4,000 minus 10% = R$ 3,600.

Expecting tiers to stack.
