How the owner accesses the financial portal

Understand how the owner portal works and what financial information owners can view in Rezvia.

What is the owner financial portal?

It is an area within Rezvia where the property owner can follow statements, payouts and financial information about their own property — without entering the manager's operational area.

The portal offers transparency without exposing the operation's internal data.

What the owner can see

In the financial portal, the owner sees:

  • Statement history — a list of every month with its status (Draft, Approved, Paid)
  • Statement detail — the period's bookings, the fees applied, adjustments and the payout amount
  • Statement PDF — available for download once approved
  • Payout status — whether the payment has been made or is outstanding
  • Financial summary — an overview of previous months
  • The owner does not access other owners' data, the operation's internal information, other guests' data beyond those of their own property, or statements still in draft.

    How the manager grants access

    The owner is a user of your account with an access type of their own. They are not registered in a separate list.

    1. Go to Settings → Users.

    2. Click Add User.

    3. Fill in their name and email.

    4. Fill in the initial password. You are the one who sets this password and hands it over — the system sends no email invitation.

    5. Under access type, choose Property owner.

    6. Under linked properties, tick the properties they will be able to follow. At least one is required: without a link the save button stays disabled, because an owner with no property would enter an empty portal.

    7. Click save.

    That is it. They can now sign in with the email and password you set, through the same login screen your team uses.

    Agree with the owner that they change the password on first login. The initial password passed through your hands.

    How the owner signs in

    1. They open the Rezvia login screen.

    2. They enter the email and the password you set.

    3. They land straight in their portal, not in the operational panel.

    In the portal, they see only the properties linked to their profile — never those of other owners.

    Choosing what they can see

    Beyond the linked properties, you control which areas of the portal are available. Go to Settings → Owner Portal and switch each one on or off:

  • Rental Dashboard — the rental performance panel;
  • Operations — the property's operational routines;
  • Calendar — the calendar for their properties;
  • Bookings — the booking list;
  • Statement — the monthly statements and the PDFs;
  • Financial — the financial view;
  • My account — their own access details.
  • A switched-off area disappears from the menu and is also blocked by direct link — saving the address will not help.

    If you switch everything off, they land on a screen saying nothing is available. It is a valid state, but rarely the intended one: check the permissions before concluding that "the portal is empty".

    If the owner stops being an owner

    When you change their access type to another profile, the property links are removed automatically. That is deliberate: a forgotten link would grant access after the relationship ended.

    Worked example

    João owns Lake House. The manager goes to Settings → Users, adds João with his email, sets an initial password, selects the Property owner access type and links Lake House. Then passes the email and password to him over WhatsApp.

    João signs in through the login screen, opens the April statement, sees that the payout was marked as paid, and downloads the PDF for his records.

    Important tips

  • The owner only sees statements with the status Approved or Paid — drafts do not appear in the portal.
  • The initial password is set by you and handed over by you. There is no automatic email invitation.
  • The owner's access is independent of the operational team's login: they never see the operational panel.
  • Common mistakes

  • Looking for a screen called "Owners". There is none — registration happens under Settings → Users.
  • Expecting the owner to receive an invitation email. They do not: arrange to hand over the password.
  • Linking no property — the portal opens with nothing to show.
  • Leaving every area switched off under Owner Portal and being surprised they cannot see the statement.
  • Approving the statement only after the owner complains — remember that drafts do not appear in the portal.
  • Recommended next step

    See how to record payouts and mark payments to keep the owner portal up to date.
